Drug Bail Bonds
Drugs are one of the few offenses that will always land you in prison. In the United States, there is a zero tolerance poly for drug possession, selling and trafficking. If you are caught with illegal drugs, you will be booked in to jail. If you are caught with a minor drug, you will receive a smaller bail, that you may be able to pay on your own, but if you are caught with a schedule one drug, or booked on intend to sell, you may face a bail that you cannot afford.
Marijuana can be an extremely upsetting thing to be arrested for. While marijuana is quickly becoming legalized in a number of states, it is still illegal in North Carolina. More than this, marijuana is currently classified as a schedule one drug which means, if you are caught possessing, using or selling, you could be unfairly hit with a larger bail. If you find yourself booked in to jail on a marijuana charge, and need a bail bond to help you get out, let us know and we can definitely be in your corner through this process.
Possession of narcotics may not end you up with a large bail fee, but it also could. Possession is one of those things that is almost entirely up to your arresting officer. There are some officers out there who may take your drugs and give you a warning and/or citation, while there others who will confiscate your drugs and immediately place you under arrest. While you are waiting for your chance to argue your case, you will be kept in a holding cell and issued a bail. If you can’t pay your bail, we are here to back you with a bond.
Selling drugs is a sure fire way to land yourself in jail. Selling drugs is absolutely something that will not be tolerated by any law enforcement officer. We will always recommend that you do not sell drugs, but if you find yourself in a situation where you’ve been booked on that charge, we can get you out of jail while you await your court cases. If you have been arrested for drug charges previously, your bail may be set at a level that we cannot provide a bond for. However, if this is your first time with a drug charge, we will, most likely, be able to provide a bond to you which will cover your fees.
Trafficking is the one offense that we may not be able to help you out with, when it comes to drugs. Trafficking is considered one of the most harsh charges there is when it comes to all things drugs. Trafficking will always net you jail time and may, actually, be an offense that a court will not give you a bail for. If a bail is issued for this type of charge, it will certainly be something higher than we can bond and will choose not to help with.
