Traffic Bail Bonds
Typically, traffic infractions will not land you in a position where you will need a bail to be released. Usually a traffic infraction is just that, an infraction. An infraction is a small crime, which is, almost always, punishable with a ticket and small fine. However, there are certain cases where traffic crimes will get a bigger punishment and a much heftier fine. These traffic crimes are usually crimes that result in the endangerment of people other than yourself and, should they occur, could result in a bail being set for you.
Alcohol is an absolute no-go when it comes to driving. Any sort of alcohol related offense will, almost always, land you in a position where bail will be needed. Because alcohol impairs your ability to drive correctly, and make proper decisions, it is one of the worst offenses you can be booked for, while driving. If you happen to have other people in the car with you, when you are stopped for driving under the influence, you will, absolutely, be booked on a felony and have a bail limit set for you.
Driving With Suspended License
Another traffic violation that will result in a bail situation is driving without a license or, worse, driving with a suspended license. If you are driving with no license at all, it means that you have not gone though the proper channels in order to prove your driving competency. If you are driving with a suspended license, it means that you have already been penalized for something, and you are now showing a blatant disregard for that problem. This will be offensive to the courts and will certainly result in your being booked and having a bail arraignment set.
If you are driving erratically, putting other cars on the road in harms way, it could certainly result in being booked, with a bail set. A great example of this is if someone is leading police on a high speed chase through city streets. This kind of driving is, not only, reckless endangerment, but it is also resisting arrest. Because this kind of action results in putting the lives of others at risk, as well as the lives of law enforcement personnel, it is deemed a very severe crime. This will always result in a crime that is enforceable, with a bail limit set forth.
